Vera Lynn Keeley

November 12, 1969 - August 20, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Vera Lynn Keeley.  She departed from this world on August 20, 2023 in Winnipeg, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unforgettable memories.

She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Vera Olive Keeley and brother Ted Keeley and wife Marlean Keeley.

Lynn is lovingly remembered by her common-law husband Randy Hiebert.  She will also be mourned by her brother Lorne Keeley, her sister Gail Keeley and husband Douglas Jackson, niece Terrilyn Makowski and husband Kane Makowski, nephews Sean Jackson, Darwin Keeley and Gerald Keeley.

Lynn was born November 12, 1969 in Killarney, MB and raised in Ninette, MB.  She attended high school in Killarney Manitoba and Confederation College in Thunder Bay.  Following graduation, Lynn worked in radio stations in Sudbury, Portage and Winnipeg.  After about 5 years Lynn decided on a career change and went to MITT in Winnipeg to learn project management.  Not long after graduating she began to work at Wawanesa Mutual where she stayed until illness prevented her from continuing her career.  Lynn began to ride horses while living in Ninette and throughout her life pursued her love of owning and riding horses.  She also loved cats and dogs and many of them were welcomed into her home.

Lynn had a passion for travel.  She loved the azure waters of Polynesia and saw the beauty and experienced the serenity of Western Europe.  Her adventures not only broadened her horizons but also enriched her soul.  Lynn will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

According to her wishes, Lynn has been cremated and a private memorial service with friends and family will be held.

Rest in peace, dear Lynn.
