Norman Allan Wright

August 20, 1941 - September 21, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Norman Allan Wright, on Sept 21, 2022. Left to mourn his passing are his life-partner Betty-Anne Webb and his beloved children Cory Snider (Paul), Selena Wright (Antonio), Trevor Wright (Marie), Noelle Arneson (Monty), Simeon Wright, Marlene Smith, Ryan Webb (Grace), and Krista Wazny (Jeff), many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brother Rick Wright (Eileen), extended family, and special friends.

Norm was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on August 20th, 1941. He graduated from high school in Regina and worked for Volkswagen until he was transferred to Winnipeg in 1966. Years later he was a Regional Manager for Standard Auto Glass until he retired in 1989.

He met Betty-Anne and began to help raise her children, Ryan & Krista. He introduced his love of golf to her, and it became their shared passion. They were happily together for 33 years.

In his past time, Norm enjoyed golfing, playing snooker, gardening, and being a handyman for his family and friends for many years. Norm was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for over 30 years.

A special thanks to Riverview Healthcare nurses and doctors for their compassion and care during the brief time Norm was there. They went above and beyond and took care of us as well as Norm. Sabrina, we especially appreciated your kindness.

As by request, a private cremation has taken place. In Norman’s memory, donations can be made to charity of ones choice.
