Murray Reginald Scott Lowe

August 2, 1955 - March 20, 2024

Sadly, on March 20, 2024 with his wife Linda by his side Murray passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. He was 68 years old. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Linda, son Scott, sister Bonnie St. Amour (James), Sister-in-law Sylvia Pidhirney, brother-in-law Brian Humnisky (Amelia), Grandchildren; Andrew, Tyler, Miley, Hailey, Abigail and Mariah. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Marjorie Lowe, in-laws, George and Gwen Michael’s, brother-in-laws, Lorne Pidhirney and Bill Humnisky, daughter, Crystal Lowe, and sister, Kathy Andres.  

Murray was born in Winnipeg Manitoba to Reginald and Marjorie Lowe. He was the oldest brother to Bonnie and Kathy.

After Linda’s first husband George passed away, Murray made sure to take care of Linda and her son Scott. Soon their friendship blossomed into love.  They had their daughter Crystal on August 23, 1984. A year later they were married on October 19, 1985. 

Murray worked for Acklands, The City of Winnipeg, First Choice Courier, Broadway Courier, and Carpet Messenger. 

Murray was a no- nonsense sense kind of guy, loved his grandchildren and would do anything for them. 

The family would like to express their sincere thank you and appreciation to the staff in the ICU at St. Boniface Hospital.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Murray’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m., at The Source Church, 187 Kilbride Ave. A reception will follow directly after the service. 

If friends so desire, donations in may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
