Grace Anne Quinton (nee Moon)

October 14, 1967 - September 25, 2024

Grace was born in Kenora, Ontario on October 14th, 1967, and passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 25th, 2024, at 2:00pm. She will be joining her father, Dennis Moon, brother, Normand Moon, niece, Patricia Palson, and her beloved husband, James C. Quinton, as well as a number of friends that were like family to her.

Grace will be missed by her mother, Gladys Barron, and her siblings, John Moon (Angela), Cindy Palson (Wayne), Sheryl Fisk (Randy), Oddette Palson, and Mark Moon.

She had so many great times with her family and friends that were like family to her, Ted Puls, Mitch Puls, and many more. Whether it was around a campfire, on a lake, or at friends/families’ house Grace always knew how to make it a memorable occasion with at least one story to tell. Her humour will be greatly missed.

Grace was a fun, and loving mother of three; Ashley Quinton, Damien Moon-Quinton, and Russell Makara. They will remember; frog hunting, playing 4-square and badminton, trips to the beach/lake, and of course her pancakes and so much more. She was an amazing aunty to her nieces and nephew. Family meant a lot to Grace. She enjoyed going boating and snowmachining with her family and friends. She also enjoyed being able to spend time with her grandkids.

Grace fought whole heartedly for what she believed in. She would always stand up for her friends, family, and animals in times of need. Grace loved living her life to the fullest but also enjoyed her peace and quiet out in the bush where she could be alone and listen to the sounds of nature. Watching crime shows and nature documentaries were one of her favourite things to do in her down time. She also enjoyed cooking, whether it was for her family, husband, friends or even her pets. There were many animals that left a mark on her heart, and she enjoyed spoiling them all.  Her personality was truly one of a kind and will be remembered for a long time to come.

There will be a celebration of life held for Grace at Brew Co’s Whiskey room, Kenora, Ontario on Saturday October 26th at 5:00pm-8:00pm.
