Douglas Gordon Prior

November 15, 1956 - July 26, 2023

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our father, Douglas Gordon Prior on July 26, 2023, at the age of 66 years. Dad was predeceased by his parents, Elsie and James Prior, brother, Bart Prior and sister Elma Hiebert.He is survived by his two young sons, Arden and James, daughters, Jennifer and Crystal (Lee), stepdaughters, Nicole, Carla (Jeff), Lisa and grandchildren, Alex, Kenzie, Nikolas, Tasha and Piper (Alex).

Dad was born in Stonewall and raised in the Marquette area. He worked at Bart’s Garage before moving to Winnipeg to open a flower delivery business. In his retirement, Dad enjoyed spending his summers camping with the boys.

A memorial service was held on August 4, 2023 at Meadow Lea United Church.
